We will continue with Norman Solomon with a short talk on “Roots of War” that was given on Oct. 27, 2009. Norman Solomon is/was Media critic and discusses pro-war propaganda generated by U.S. governments during military operations and the influence the media has on public opinion. From the invasion of the Dominican Republic to the current war in Iraq Solomon explores ways the media is used to bolster support for military intervention.
