Steve and Cheryl Nagel are the grandparents of Rico Martinez-Nagel. Although testing negative for HIV in Romania, she tested positive upon arriving in the US. In December 2012, Lindsey gave birth to a son Rico. Refusing to have him tested for HIV, the infant was eventually abducted by the state. Some days later they found that Rico was in the hospital, being tube fed and receiving AIDS drugs including AZT.
