Office; CBO is Congressional Budget Office; 340B is about drug pricing
program, Section 340B of the Public Health Service Act requires
pharmaceutical manufacturers participating in Medicaid to sell
outpatient drugs at discounted prices to health care organizations that
care for many uninsured and low-income patients; PPS is Prospective
Payment System A Prospective Payment System (PPS) is a method of
reimbursement in which Medicare payment is made based on a
predetermined, fixed amount.
This was a two hours hearing; I am only bringing you one hour of it. I
have left out all other committee senators questions/answers session.
