From Mansoor Sabbagh:
1) About the show: A few weeks ago, I gave/provided my proposal and requirements to the Executive Director of Pacifica Foundation, who has shared with the interim general manager of kpfk (I personally spoke with him as well about this issue during the Bookfest this past Sunday), the terms and conditions under which I can produce/host Something's Happening show and how it could/should move forward starting May 1, 2023. But, there has not been a reply yet.
2) If you wish, you can call in during the "Inner Vision show", with Dr. Nita Vallens, today, Friday, at 1pm, when she will do a tribute to Roy Tuckman. Tune in at 1pm today.
3) The attached audio file is a tribute to Roy from Elliot Mintz, who was on Roy’s show in Jan 2015.
12:00-12:28 am: announcements about the show, Elliot Mintz's tribute to Roy, and the fate of the show starting on May 1, 2023.
12:28-1:25 am: A talk by Jack Gariss on the topic of Letters to a Wayfarer, part 3 of 3. This lecture begins with human evolution, bringing together religion and science in a discussion of humanity, nature, and the universe, and ends with talks about the human mind, consciousness, and meditation. Jack Gariss was an American spiritual teacher and meditation instructor, and a radio personality on KPFK in Los Angeles from the 1960s until his death in Los Angeles in 1985.
1:25-2:06 am: Tami Simon, director of Sounds True, in conversation with Lorna Byrne, an author, on the topic of Knowing Yourself as a Spiritual Being. How might your life change if you were to reclaim your own “spiritual sight”? What would happen if you lived with a direct knowing of yourself as both a physical and a spiritual being?

2:07-3:08 am: Caroline Casey, Visionary Activist, of Coyote network news in conversation with John Perlin on topic of his republished book “A forest journey”.

3:08-4:45 am: The Thom Hartmann program, a rebroadcast of yesterday's show.
4:45-5:40 am: Special program: This is a conversation/discussion/collaboration between Professor Michael Hudson, economist, author, and Radhika Desai, economist, author, of Geopolitical Economy Hour, discussing “Did big banks take over the Treasury? Bank crisis exposes public realities of private banking”. This is part six, segment 2 of 2, in this series, which I will continue to cover from 5 to 6am next week as well.
