LOGS WEDNESDAY NIGHT AUGUST 10
“The Last Train from Hiroshima” by Charles Pellegrino
CONCLUSION
We will hear a full reading of this gripping and amazing book, read by Arthur Morey in recognition of the two Atomic Bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, 1945 to remember or learn about.
The current book is “To Hell and Back: The Last Train from Hiroshima” which is a rewrite since it was found that there was some false information given to Mr. Pellegrino about the preparation of the bombs in Tinian before the B-29’s took off. But we have the corrected original which the author, Charles Pellegrino, sent us.
The reading will be a strong remembrance and renewal of the experience to older folks and very importantly, to inform younger people what is being played with internationally by China, Russia, the US not to mention India, Pakistan, Israel, UK and France, When the nuclear weapons are being rattled, we should know what is exactly being threatened and what has been forgotten.
