Dear Something's Happening Listeners,
Please see a message and update from Mansoor Sabbagh below:

This is an update about Something's Happening program and its fate on kpfk's airwaves.
The terms and conditions I had put forward to the Pacifica Executive Director, Stephanie Wells, and my brief conversation with KPFk interim manager on how to continue and host Something's Happening program starting May 1, was rejected. However, I was offer[ed] a temporary three hours per night till interim manager would figure out what to do. I understood his comment that my engagement/production of the show will come to an end in short while. I have been with kpfk for 25+ years and worked with Roy Tuckman for 15+ years. I rejected the offer.
From tonight onward, I will not be hosting or producing the Something's Happening program. However, I am working with KNSJ and KLBP radio stations in SoCal to broadcast the SH program on the same days and during the same hours in a week to two. Stay tuned. I will send another email once I have concrete news.
Thanks,
--
