About Health

A program designed to give listeners an opportunity to talk directly with experts who understand traditional and non-traditional medicine, health, and well-being. If you have suggestions for programs or questions about KPFA, please contact Rona Renner, RN, at Rona@NurseRona.com or Dr. David Feldman, PhD, at davidf@kpfa.org.

Death is a part of life, but too often people are afraid to talk about their fears about dying, and their priorities for care at the end of life. Many people find themselves in challenging situations when they are faced with a dying relative or friend, not sure what steps to take to honor the dying person’s wishes.

Are you prepared? Do you have a will? An advanced health care directive? If not, you are not alone. Join Nurse Rona and Eileen Spillane for a conversation about death.

https://wholemothershow.com/

Jaelin Stickels, RN, CNM, and Blair Krisman, CPM

All humans are born good. All babies are born exactly the same in their goodness, in their innocence, in their curiosity, their brilliance, their ability to love, to trust. They are all born the same in their delight with the world, their happiness. It doesn’t matter what country they are born in or what their skin color or what language they are learning to speak or how much money is in their family.

Whole Mother is here to look at our parenting which begins in the very first moment at birth. Parenting today is the hardest and most important job there is out there, especially in these stressful times.
