This is a talk by Norman Solomon on War Made Easy, was given at UCSB in Dec. 2005, part 2 of 2. We will continue with Norman Solomon with a short talk on “Roots of War” that was given on Oct. 27, 2009. Norman Solomon is/was Media critic and discusses pro-war propaganda generated by U.S. governments during military operations and the influence the media has on public opinion. From the invasion of the Dominican Republic to the current war in Iraq Solomon explores ways the media is used to bolster support for military intervention.

The attack on Iraq was based on lies and propaganda that caused unnecessary killing of millions of Iraqi civilians and cost an estimated $2.6T to $3T, which breaks down to $63K/person of 330M people, our tax money to achieve nothing.

This was/is war crime; even George W Bush acknowledged that the WMD was misleading and Tony Blair was found guilty of lying to British parliament. All these people are guilty of war crime: Tony Blair, George W Bush, Dick Cheney, Collin Powell, Rumsfeld, Paul Bremer, George Tenet, Condolence Rice, Paul Wolfowitz, Michael Chertoff, All these people are guilty of war crime. And The Intel criminal court one day will reach the same conclusion.
