Jeff then has an interchange with Patrick Bond, an Irish/African activist, and prof. in S. Africa, on BRICS and the influence upon it of the genocide in Gaza, and Israeli efforts to exert influence on South Africa’s positioning on Gaza/Palestine and other issues facing the BRICS countries at the summit recently held in South Africa and where there was a shift planned to the Russians to take over chairing the alliance from the South Africans as its leadership alternates.
